It is field trip season! Yesterday First Grade visited Hidden Oaks Nature Center and got some hands-on time with nature. On Thursday, Kindergarten will visit Lincoln's Cottage in DC. As always, w

e are very grateful to our wonderful PTO for supporting these.

Each year our Sixth Graders create dioramas of different eco-systems. These are on display in the foyer. Stop by and see the creativity and hard work of our students.

This week the Seventh Grade will be introduced to the history of Gettysburg during the Civil War. We are grateful to Captain Don Ditko for his annual visits to prepare our students for their trip to Gettysburg with him.

We are still collecting Box Tops. Please save these since they magically turn into money!

As we continue on this Lenten journey, please take some time to attend the wonderful offerings of our parish. There are morning and evening bible studies beginning. Friday there are two opportunities to attend the Stations of the Cross: at 2:30 pm with the school or 7:00 pm after the soup supper. Speaking of which, our school is sponsoring the supper on March 29. Please consider bringing a dish or helping with set-up, serving, or clean-up. St. Ambrose School Spring Used Uniform Sale!!

It's coming ... please mark your calendars

Sunday, April 14th

11am-1pm

In just a few weeks our kids will be switching to the Spring Uniform and what a great time to clean out those closets and see what fits! We invite all current families to consign/donate whatever doesn't.

P lease read the attached instructions sheet and fill out the tags. You may drop off your used items at the school office in the coming weeks right up until Friday, April 12 th .

Set-up will be on Saturday, April 13th. Please look out for the Sign-Up Genius if you'd like to volunteer your time and help on that day or Sunday, April 14th .

Please make sure to read the Buzz every week. There's a lot of great things in it. Also, turn in your submissions! Submissions are due by Mondays by 5pm. I accept submissions from teachers, staff, and parents. If you know of something interesting going on in our community, or want to give a shout out to someone at the school, I'd love to add it to the Buzz. I especially love pictures. Please contact Mrs. Rowley to make sure that we have permission to publish pictures of every student in the picture. Pictures need to be less than 5 MB. Thanks so much!
