These eBooks are available as multi-user editions that allow for unlimited simultaneous access by every student in our school or by any family member. This google doc was created for my daughter who is making her first seder in the kitchen. These are some of my favorite recipes for Passover. B'Tay Avon

Place Cards for the seder:  We still have the place cards that my children made for seder over 20 years ago. This year, use index cards or paper to cut  index card size place cards and fold to stand. Have your children draw a picture or cut and paste Passover pictures from newspaper ads or magazines of kiddush cups, matzah, or any other illustration.  Color with markers or crayons. Have your children write or help them write the names of the members at your seder table this year.  Also make cards for the family and friends you hope will join you NEXT year and save those cards for a special memory.

Do your Happy Feet video at home or in the backyard if the weather allows. All you need is a ball -- soccer ball, basketball, kick-ball, etc.  The video classes capture the excitement and exuberance that HappyFeet is known for!

Tell me a Mitzvah
Email me a mitzvah that you and your family are (or have been doing) so I can share with our families on Wednesday. And if you don't wish to share please know that the highest order of a mitzvah is often the one that is not announced or even known by the recipient. Yasher Koach to you for all you do.

Tikun Olam it is our way to make a difference every day.

Readiness: For readiness in writing, look for large print in newspapers and magazines of sight words (small words) that your child can trace with a crayon or marker (no pencils please) to practice grip and the motion of handwriting. No correcting grip at this time. No negative feedback please.
Cheer them on! Straight lines of course are easiest especially for 2s and 3s.  Circles and half loops are more challenging. Don't go between the lines! Traces the lines in this readiness exercise.

Love from Morah Mindy:  Zoom Zoom Zoom-do you feel like you're going to the moon with all these zooms. Me too!
I live in fear of missing one or having trouble signing on or my laptop imploding. This is all new to me. I keep an old calendar  on my desk (found in the back of a drawer) and every day when I have something I need to remember to zoom, I put the details on the calendar. Now you probably have bells and whistles that ring and ding and technology that gently reminds you, but I'm liking this writing on the calendar thing. And I'm definitely liking seeing your faces every day. sending you love, strength, hope, patience, and a wicked sense of humor.

hugs and kisses,
Morah Mindy

Happy to make a special call to your child from 9:30 to 10 am on your cell or your home phone, Tuesday or Wednesday of this week just email me at [email protected] and we'll connect.
