One of the benefits of ISANNE membership is the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues and share information. ISANNE has 19 affinity groups and we conduct about 25 events each year. We've received requests for more and this spring we are organizing listserves and events for four new groups; HR Directors, IT Directors, Nurses and School Safety Directors. 

This month, t he HR directors met at Brewster Academy and addressed several topics generated by the group in a Round Table format. They brought great energy to the discussions and several noted the benefits of being off campus with others in a similar role and collaborating on issues.  As one commented: "It was helpful to meet with others and share resources. I think many of us had at least one "aha" moment." Last week the IT Directors met at Tilton School in a roundtable format with a presentation from McLane Middleton's Cam Shilling on GDPR and online security. The nurses are scheduled to meet Thursday, June 21st at Berwick Academy.

We recognize that our listserves are a great benefit for our members and we are reviewing ways to make them more helpful such as archiving discussion threads and allowing schools to enter their own contact information. Connecting our members through technology is part of our E.E. Ford Foundation grant funding. We will keep you posted.
