Author Talk: Anatole Konstantin - A Brief History of Communism: The Rise and Fall of the Soviet Empire
Wednesday, June 6 @7pm 
Local author Anatole Konstantin grew up in Ukraine when it was part of the Soviet Union ruled by Stalin. His latest book, A Brief History of Communism, is the story of those who believed they knew how to create an ideal world and, in its name, did not hesitate to sacrifice millions of innocent lives. Konstantin's previous books include A Red Boyhood: Growing up Under Stalin and Through the Eyes of an Immigrant. He has taught a course on The Rise and Fall of the Soviet Empire at Norwalk Community College. Anatole will be in discussion with Megan Smith-Harris, editor of Wilton Magazine and programmer and moderator of our New Perspectives Documentary series. More info & register
Cyber Security Essentials

Red Cross Babysitting Training
Monday, June 25 & Tuesday, June 26, from 2-5pm
This is a 2-day babysitting workshop for students ages 11-15 and is conducted by a certified Red Cross Babysitter Trainer. Upon completion of the course, participants will receive a Red Cross Babysitting certificate. Cost is $70 which includes the course text, first aid pack, LED flashlight, and drawstring bag.
