Award-Winning Local Artists

The Panama City Center for the Arts will host two solo shows of award-winning artist, Heather Clements, combined in We Are Nature. The exhibit will feature Heather's work from the last three years, including drawings, oil paintings, and most predominantly, thirty pieces from her most recent watercolor "Blooming" series. Heather's watercolors in her "Blooming" series are a surge of vibrant, explosive abstractions; exuberant women burst with colorful pedals, sometimes so overwhelming with zest that the paint literally drips from them. Always drawing inspiration from the human figure, Heather's art mixes tight realistic portraiture with rich metaphors, as she perpetually creates and shares beauty with meaning. "We Are Nature" will be on display at the Panama City Center for the Arts Tuesdays through Saturdays, 10am-5pm from May 12th until July 12th, 2018.
