Strike Out Cancer
Softball Fundraiser
Honoring Jennifer Faltys
The Lady Dragons Softball team will be selling t-shirts for their upcoming Strike Out Cancer game on Friday, April 5 against Byron Nelson.  Order deadline is MONDAY, MARCH 25.

This year the theme is "PLAY FOR HER" and they will be giving all proceeds to the American Cancer Society in memory of Jennifer Faltys.  We invite the community, students, and faculty of CISD to order a shirt and wear it around town and to the game on Friday, April 5.  You won't want to miss Dr. Faltys  throwing out the honorary first pitch.

Come out to the softball field at Carroll Senior High Friday, April 5 @ 7:00 p.m. to honor the Faltys family and watch your Lady Dragons at work. Thanks for your support.

International Festival

We are seeking parent volunteers to help with the 1st Annual CMS International Festival on May 17.

Our goal is to provide our students the opportunity to gain a better understanding about different cultures through a variety of educational experiences.  In order for this program to be successful, we need many parent and community volunteers.  We want to have as many different cultures/heritages as possible represented for our students.

For more information on the International Festival, and how you might help, please click here  CMS International Festival.

The Office
Cell Phone Use in School Zones

State of Texas traffic laws are enforceable in school zones as well. Please remember to be hands free while on the phone this includes texting.

If you have complaints or concerns, please contact Officer Roberson 817-949-5414.

Traffic
There have been several complaints about vehicles turning in front of waiting vehicles on Kirkwood Blvd. before or after school.
The far right lane must continue straight and not turn in front of vehicles waiting to the left trying to turn to get into the drop off / pick up line.

Remember from drivers ed - two lines that intersect have a point of impact. Officers will be issuing citations for this violation.
If you are needing to park in the parking lot you must either wait or turn in the parking lot from the east side traveling west.

Any questions on this please contact Officer Roberson 817-949-5414

Laptop Covers
We still have hard-shell laptop covers (green only) available for purchase for $20.
Please see Mrs. Gulliver or Mrs. Brett in the front office to purchase one.

Dress Code Reminders:
If girls wear leggings, the top worn with them must be knuckle length.

If she wears shorts, a dress or a skirt, these items must be at least knuckle length.

Thank you for helping our students follow the district dress code.

Please review the full Dress Code in the Student Handbook.
