A Prayer for the Unity of the Church
|
|
Almighty Father
,
whose blessed Son before his passion prayed for his disciples that they might be one, as you and he are one: Grant that your Church, being bound together in love and obedience to you, may be united in one body by the one Spirit, that the world may believe in him whom you have sent, your Son Jesus Christ our Lord; who lives and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever.
Amen
.

Bag it for Dad this Sunday
Fathers' Day is this Sunday. Bring a bag of canned and/or packaged food for local food banks in honor or in memory of your father. On Mothers' Day you contributed two SUV loads of food for Phoebe's Closet and HELP and they were extremely grateful. Let's do it again!

Thank you, volunteers!
St. Mark's is blessed to have a dedicated corps of people who enhance our worship by serving as acolytes, gospel bearers, lay readers, lay liturgical ministers, ushers and sacristans. We've filled many blocks on the summer schedule, but there are still empty spaces. Please take a look at the schedule
here and let us know if you can help out, whether you've had experience or not.
