Paradise Athletes Recognized for Contributions at Canada Winter Games
Paradise athletes who competed in the Canada Winter Games were recognized by Mayor Dan Bobbett and Council during the Council Meeting on March 19. This year's Games took place from February 15, to March 3, 2019 in Red Deer, Alberta and saw a number of our Newfoundland and Labrador athletes and teams perform well and achieved personal bests.

The Town is proud of all our athletes and it is wonderful to see so many help represent our province as part of Team NL. Congratulations to all athletes and a big thanks to all of the volunteers, coaches, and parents who have dedicated their time to helping our athletes achieve so much. Without volunteer support, participation in national events like the 2019 Canada Winter Games would not be possible.

Congratulations to all your hard work and accomplishments! We will also be celebrating our athletes and volunteers as part of the Municipal Awards on April 9.
