Entrepreneurship.
The Virginia Arts Business Conference organized by the Clark Hulings Foundation is one example of our revived focus on fostering entrepreneurship.  This event is focused on arts as business.  It also allows us to celebrate Virginian artists and encourage their business growth.

You may know that I am passionate about innovation and creativity-the driving forces of entrepreneurship.  Let me also remind you that entrepreneurship is not just about "start-ups," it is a critical component of any growing business.

We are exploring other opportunities to foster innovation and creativity-and thus entrepreneurship across Stafford in the coming year around cyber and related technologies.

Our efforts will dovetail with the expanded programs at UMW Stafford around cyber security workforce development (below).  Along with our existing cyber business community, the new American Cyber League, and Germanna Community College's Cyber degree programs, we are exploring opportunities to foster new innovations and entrepreneurship around Cyber and related technologies-stay tuned for What's Next.
