Dr. Roland Valdes Jr. is a member of the AACC Policy & External Affairs Core Committee (PEACC). Committee members, once again this June, visited Capitol Hill in advocacy of harmonization of clinical laboratory medicine tests and to seek support to establish rigorous reference test ranges for children, a much needed activity for children’s healthcare.
Along with Dr. Valdes were Dr. David Koch (Emory University and Grady Hospital); Dr. Corinne Fantz (Roche Diagnostics) and Dr. Tina Lockwood (University of Washington). They visited with the offices of Senator Rand Paul as well as other Senators and Representatives throughout the day.
