Member Marketing Update
November 2020
Through a campaign entitled “Live Boston Classroom,” the Bureau will be connecting its hotel partners to members in the museum, tour/attraction, culinary and cultural realm to create educational packages. These packages will be enticing for visitors, particularly families, who are
looking to get away while seeking out experiential and educational opportunities. For questions, please contact David O'Donnell,
Director of Strategic Communications, dodonnell@bostonusa.com and you can learn more HERE.
BostonUSA.com Re-design
Earlier this month we unveiled a re-design our bostonusa.com website. We are very excited with the new site, which features a more crisp and visually dynamic feel to it. As with any website re-design, not every component of the old site seamlessly flowed into the new one but we’ve been working diligently to identify areas that need a refresh to the new site. Please review your member listings and events and let us know if there are any issues.

New England Aquarium featured on Ch. 5's Chronicle
This month, Chronicle, WCVB Channel 5’s award-winning newsmagazine, dedicated an entire show to the New England Aquarium, highlighting the organization’s conservation work to protect the blue planet. The first two segments, Inside the giant ocean tank and the penguin tray and Medical research, treatment and rehabilitation, featured life in the Aquarium—from the animals to their caregivers to the visitor services staff. Tracking wild ocean life to aid in conservation and sustainability, the third segment, highlighted Aquarium researchers and the Sea Turtle Rescue and Right Whale Research programs. The final segment, Virtual lessons during COVID-19, showcased the Aquarium’s newest programming. For more information about the Aquarium, visit neaq.org.
Take the Boston Safe & Strong Pledge
Businesses that take the Pledge may upload the Pledge banner to their website and spotlight their Pledge commitment wherever they see fit - the GBCVB will add it to their BostonUSA.com web listing as well. To join the Pledge businesses must comply with a checklist of specified practices. Additionally, to guide compliance, businesses must fill out a form that includes the terms & conditions necessary to participate in the Pledge.
