2018 - 2019 Season
Sponsored by the Walnut Creek Chamber of Commerce, Leadership Contra Costasm (LCC), the Bay Area's premier countywide leadership program, accepts 25-30 individuals from throughout the county with diverse backgrounds to participate in the program. LCC is geared to people who want to make a difference in the communities in which they live and work.
For 30 years Leadership Contra Costa has been helping identify and prepare community leaders. With an alumni roster of more than 600 graduates, including Mayor of Walnut Creek Loella Haskew, former Mayors of Walnut Creek Cindy Silva and Kathy Hicks, former Assemblywoman Lynne Leach, former Concord Mayor, Lou Rosas; Martinez Mayor Rob Schroder; and Ret. Superior Court Judge Harlan Grossan, this program has proven to be an asset to the community and society.

For more than thirteen years, Ron has owned and operated a Walnut Creek/Northern California, retail, travel outlet for Cruise Holidays, a member of the Travel Leaders Group...
America's largest travel agency company. During most of this time, he served as a member of the Franchise Advisory Board, providing business counsel and advice to senior management. In the Bay Area, Ron has been an Elder at Lafayette/Orinda Presbyterian Church, a Trustee at Grace Cathedral (SF), a member and President of the Episcopal Diocese of California Standing Committee, and a member of the
Walnut Creek Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. He is married with two daughters and three grandchildren and is a graduate of Michigan State University.
