Gov Pritzker: "Shelter in Place" Starting Saturday
The IMA has learned that Gov. Pritzker plans to issue a "shelter in place" order this afternoon for the State of Illinois, likely to begin at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 21 and last through Tuesday, April 7.

When the order is released, the IMA will provide a full summary, analysis, and impact on manufacturers. We have been working with the Governor and his team for several days in an effort to deem manufacturing, supply chains, and distribution as essential. Earlier today, the IMA delivered a letter making this point signed by hundreds of companies.

The Illinois Manufacturers’ Association will continue providing timely and accurate information to our members with resources online at the IMA’s dedicated page www.ima-net.org/covid-19/
