Dear First Presbyterian Family,

We pray that this letter finds you well in body and spirit. As our community is adjusting to what seems to be a constant state of change, we are grateful for this family of faith and the way that you are reaching out to one another in extraordinary circumstances. We watch our healthcare professionals and front-line service people keeping our hospitals, grocery stores, and social service agencies running, and recognize that for many of you this was a week of tremendous shifts in your personal and professional lives.

The pastors and staff are seeking ways to support our congregation during this time. These include:

  • Continuing to stream our traditional (9:00am) and contemporary (10:42am) services on Sunday mornings
  • Offering online concerts from our musicians on Tuesdays
  • Providing Bible studies on Wednesday nights and Thursday afternoons

All of these can be accessed over our website - www.firstpreswc.com . If there are other resources that would be helpful, please let us know.

For the time being, the pastors are going to alternate leading worship services on Sundays to minimize the possibility that we’ll pass germs back and forth. We’re encouraging other ministries to stagger their presence on Sundays as well. We’re both available by email and cell phone for any pastoral needs.

Though the doors of the sanctuary may be closed, the work of the church continues.

May God be with you all during this time.

In Christ,
Pastors Greg and Caroline
