GRANDE PRAIRIE REGIONAL COLLEGE

With so many chamber members involved in community organizations as board members, volunteers and donors, this landmark research on the past 30 years of giving in Canada may be of interest.

COMMUNITY ASSET MAP SURVEY

The City of Grande Prairie - Community Social Development is building  a profile of the not-for-profit and volunteer community in  Grande Prairie, and we are asking for your help.  This work is being done via an online survey available at   https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/CAM-GP  and will include questions about the size and scope of community organizations, the programs they provide, the demographics of their volunteers and the people they serve, and current and potential collaborations in the community.   This data may be used by the community to make decisions in developing priorities, planning programs, identifying areas of need, and facilitating collaborations.

This information is being collected by Community Social Development . Only aggregate (summary) data will be available to the public. The results will be presented to the community and available online for community use. Individual responses will remain anonymous.

The survey may take as little as 10 minutes or as long as 30 minutes.  Not all of the questions will apply to every organization, so please choose the appropriate responses for those which do not apply.  To make this process as easy as possible, you may complete part of the survey at one sitting, then return later to complete it. The survey will close Friday, May 11.

ONE LOUDER GOES THE ART AUCTION 38
SATURDAY, APRIL 28, 2018

Each year since 1980, the Art Gallery of Grande Prairie has held an annual art auction to raise funds for its core operations and programming. This gala, supported by artists, businesses and the local community, is a celebration of the transformative power of the Arts, and acknowledges the important placement of the Gallery in our community.

All proceeds support the Gallery's exhibitions and programs for the year, one of the premiere Free Admission Galleries in Western Canada.
