NAI Unified Booster Organization Representative

The Unified Boosters Organization is looking for a representative from North Allegheny Intermediate. Interested parents should email Mrs. Caitlin Ewing at cewing@northallegheny.org.
Laptop Insurance

Since your child has received a District-issued device (laptop or iPad), you have an opportunity to renew your participation in the annual insurance program. If you have not already renewed your insurance this school year, your coverage will end as of midnight on October 30, 2020. Membership in the insurance program is an annual process and covers the device throughout the school year and the following summer and into the start of the following year.
 
We have been able to maintain the annual fee at $35. You always have the option to accept or decline the coverage for the device, but you must enroll your child’s device annually at One2OneRisk.com.
 
Regardless of your decision, your enrollment is required on or before October 30, 2020. The process for accepting or declining is available on the District website.

Having tech issues? During this busy time, students will not be penalized for any and all attendance/assignment issues due to tech difficulties. As always, TigerID is accessible from any device through the North Allegheny Website.

Guest Substitutes Q&A Session 

The District is accepting applications for Guest Substitutes through October 28, 2020. If you or someone you know is interested in learning more about these opportunities, please join us for an upcoming Q & A Session. A teaching certificate is not required. For more information, please visit our website.
NASD Offers Free Meals for All Students Every Day

The USDA has recently approved school districts to offer free meals to all students for in-person and remote instruction. Breakfast and lunch (in-person or pickup) is free for all students
 
Details about meal ordering and pickup were sent to all families via email.
 
Meal pickup for consumption on remote learning days will be every Wednesday from 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Meals can be picked up at HES, MES, IMS, NAI, or NASH (pickup location will be selected on the order form linked in your email). The deadline to order pickup meals will be every Friday.

All building newsletters are archived weekly on the North Allegheny website. This designated webpage will be updated with links to the previous week’s newsletters at the beginning of each school week by 11:30 a.m. A link to the archive is accessible on the District’s homepage and on each building’s homepage.
Community Flyers
The North Allegheny School District often receives requests for the distribution of athletics and approved non-profit community organization digital flyers. All requests for community flyers to be included in this newsletter must be submitted via email only at flyers@northallegheny.org. Flyers will only be posted and removed from the District website on Friday. Visit our website for details on how to submit flyers.
