A huge thank you to all our runners who supported Jewish Child's Day at the Community Fun Run last Sunday 24th June. A special thank you to the Chief Rabbi for visiting our stand on the day.
We really appreciate you choosing us, as we are well aware that there are a huge amount of charities to choose from on the day. Looking forward to seeing you all again next year.
A fantastic evening was enjoyed by over 100 ladies at our first bingo evening on 12th June.
The atmosphere was electric as Functionman got those pen dabbers going!
A huge thank you to all those who donated bingo prizes, Eden Primary School for donating the hall and all of you who supported on the night. The evening raised close to £3,000 to support Jewish children in need.
Israel Trek -

We are delighted to announce that Jewish Child's Day's first Charity Trek will be taking place from 14th-18th October 2018.
We invite you to join us for 3 days walking through the beautiful hills of Northern Israel, starting just North of Tiberius, passing through spectacular nature reserves, mountain ranges and fresh water springs and finishing in the magical town of Tzfat.
You will have plenty of time to explore Tzfat with our guide, before we return home on Thursday 18th October 2018.

Israel Trip
Only a few weeks ago, our Executive Director and Grants Manager spent three days travelling across Israel visiting 21 projects that we either currently support or are looking for our support.
It was a truly emotional experience both physically and mentally, but reiterated how important the work that we do is in attempting to give back the childhoods to so many children who rely on our support. June has been a very busy month for our Bar/Bat Mitzvah twinning programme.
Mazeltov to Joel Barnett, Uriel Lev and Ellie Marantz who all celebrated their special days. We are grateful to the new people who have signed up.
We enjoy hearing about all the fund raising ideas and are amazed that two of our 'twins' have chosen to climb Mount Snowdon to fundraise!
The purpose of the programme is for our children to help those less fortunate than themselves. It is always rewarding when we get a thank you highlighting how the generous donation has been used. - see picture.

JEWISH CHILD'S DAY Gala Dinner
Plans are well underway for our next gala dinner on Tuesday 5th February 2019 at a West End venue. We expect the evening to be nothing less than spectacular with a fantastic line up of entertainment and guest speaker.

Gourmet Supper
On 17th May, over 120 people enjoyed an evening of fine dining at the Pool and Bar Haymarket Hotel.
For over 20 years, our Life President Joy Moss and a committee of dedicated trustees has arranged gourmet suppers in aid of Jewish Child's Day. This year they raised over £65,000. On behalf of all the children that will benefit a huge thank you!
London Marathon - 28th April 19
For the first time Jewish Child's Day has been allocated a place in the Virgin Money London Marathon which will take place on 28th April 2019.
