Hi Friends,
So July will be both busy and relaxed for youth this year. We're starting off the month with Transition Group at Dairy Queen on July 1st 3-4pm.
Then, youth will spend the week packing up for mission trip. On Sunday, July 8th just after church we will leave for our Mission Trip to the Long Beach peninsula, based out of Ocean Park Camp. On our trip we will serve individuals who need help around their property, help set up activities for a camp for foster kids, spend a day at a soup kitchen, and more. Don't worry, we won't forget to have fun while we're there.
Going on our trip this year are Emily Hibbs, Charles Chandler, and Jenevieve Boruff. A big thanks to Jenah Boruff who will be there as our other chaperone.
Feel free to continue
the tradition of sending notes of encouragement to the participants to open throughout the week as they serve. Please have them to me by the time church starts on the 8th.
The remainder of July will be taken off from regularly scheduled youth activities. Keep an eye on the Facebook page for events that may crop up near the end of the month and in August.
