Gwinnett Online Campus is a full-time option for all GCPS students in grades 4-12.

Message from the Principal

Dear Parents,

Gwinnett County Public Schools has a new initiative this year to enhance the current district assessment program. Students will be participating in performance tasks that can help measure AKS not effectively measured through traditional selected response assessments. The name for the assessment is  Curriculum Embedded Performance Tasks (CEPT)

The performance tasks will take place for students in grades 4  and 7  in both language arts and mathematics. These tests will take place twice a year. The formative assessment will be given in October and November and the summative assessment will be given in February for language arts and March for mathematics. The performance tasks will include four parts where students are working on problem solving skills, being provided feedback, and putting what they learned into a cumulative problem solving task. All students are required by the district to participate in these tasks in a proctored teacher led environment so that proper feedback and future lesson preparation can take place.

We will be testing students here at Gwinnett Online Campus on the following dates. All students in grades 4 & 7 should be in attendance on campus on these dates to complete the needed assessments.
