Next Week is Classified Employees Recognition Week
Whether they are driving buses, supporting in the classroom, preparing healthy meals, keeping the school clean or our students safe, our classified employees keep DPS running every day and are critical in moving us forward toward our vision, Every Child Succeeds. To thank them for all they do, DPS is recognizing classified employees Oct. 8-12.

To support you in recognizing these team members, we have created custom Thank You cards and posters that you can print to hand out and hang at your school. When printing the card, select Actual Size or Scale: 100% and double sided. Then cut in half and fold.

More recognition ideas and suggestions to honor our classified employees:
  • Host a breakfast or lunch.
  • Provide a small gift (candy, fruit, pin) -- check out this Pinterest board for ideas.
  • Publicly recognize classified employees at a team meeting.
  • Nominate a classified employee for Living Our DPS.
  • Send a picture of a classified employee on your team and why you appreciate them to [email protected].
Don't forget to share your ideas and creations with us. We want to see and hear how you appreciate the classified employees on your team. Use #teamDPS when sharing your special moments on social media.
Encourage Your Team to Fill Out the Superintendent Search Community Survey
Please encourage your team members to share input on the next district leader through this anonymous online community survey by Oct. 12. This survey will take about 10 minutes to complete. The Board of Education will use the information provided in this survey as they consider candidates and make their selection of a new superintendent. Survey results will also be used to inform the new superintendent when he or she steps into the role.
