Congratulations to NHB's students and families! We experienced an outstanding year thanks to your dedication and hard work.
NHB's outreach and performance of Beauty and the Beast received accolades as students showcased their tremendous accomplishments to the delight of all in attendance.
As we look to the future, we have incredible ballet summer camps and classes offered next month and are making exciting plans for 2018-2019. We hope you will join us!

International Festival of Arts and Ideas
: As one of New Haven's most prestigious summer festivals, NHB was honored to once again be featured on the Main Stage where the New Haven Ballet Company performed "Paquita" on
Sunday, June 10, 2:00 p.m.

Ballet Summer Camp
NHB's Summer Camp is better than ever with
tremendous faculty and exciting classes. We invite you to enjoy making friends, gain confidence and prepare for Nutcracker auditions by working on your technique over the summer.

DanceAIR students perform |
NHB's
DanceAIR
program performed on May 25 at the ECA Aces Performing Arts Hall. NHB students, including a former DanceAIR winner, performed a spirited contemporary dance and NHB's Company performed excerpts from
Paquita.
Eight New Haven Public School children were awarded DanceAIR scholarships,
which
will allow them to continue their training at NHB and enjoy performance opportunities, including
The Nutcracker
at the Shubert Theater. A special thank you to Dancers' World, as well as the families, principals, teachers and administrators from Fair Haven School, Christopher Columbus Family Academy, John S. Martinez School, East Rock Community and Cultural Studies Magnet School, Lincoln-Basset School, and Quinnipiac Stem School for supporting and making this program possible.

Shared Ability
program culminated in a heartfelt performance on May 19 at the Shubert Theater. The students were joyful in their dancing and we would like to extend a special thank you to the families and students who dedicated their energy, to the City of New Haven Cultural Vitality Program and to the Theresa Foundation for sponsoring Shared Ability.

Teen/Adult Open Division
Teen/Adult Open Division: Whether you are a novice or seasoned professional NHB has a class for you.
Summer
Open Division classes are held on a drop-in basis to students aged 12+ years at Danspace, 70 Audubon Street, New Haven. Dance your heart out in the big studio this summer!
