Twenty-Fourth Sunday After Pentecost | Year A

From the Music and Tech Corner

Now thank we all our God! Glorious November week of warm weather, homes that shelter, provision of food, beloved churches, family, neighbors, friends, caregivers and frontline help in pandemic..... and on the list goes. Truly every season is a reason to overflow with gratitude in the midst of our trials.
STAY TUNED! Andy Campbell (First Congregational Church of Wolfeboro) is working to pre-record a virtual choir anthem, and other musical treats for an online ecumenical service on TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 24th at 7 PM. Details and link will be forthcoming in next week's Enews.... I've already recorded two organ pieces for this.... a postlude and prelude with lovely pictures. Hoping many of you can join us this year!!
IN THE PIPELINE:
Our vestry, worship committee, and staff have been percolating many ideas for ways to help this holiday season be worshipful and meaningful. Special services, including a variety of pre-recorded music, throughout December will hopefully play a deep role in encouraging and blessing all of you. We are all trying to listening well to our Lord and to each other; and hopefully finding a good balance of what can and cannot be offered in this time. We SO appreciate your prayers, support, and loving comments.... including feedback on what can be improved.
NEXT WEEK SACRED SING!
Next week on WED NOV 18th we will offer rousing Thanksgiving favorites for us all to sing! I will be at the organ, with Ralph guiding from the tech booth as we sing "We Gather Together", "Come, ye thankful people come", "Now thank we all our God" and finally a moving story and final singing of "Like a River Glorious".
In God's love and peace,
Ralph and Holly

New Bible Chronology Chart Donated
|
|
There is a large wall chart of world history and important biblical events in the Nancy Beck Memorial Library at All Saints. We are grateful to Bobbie Stave, a friend of Joyce Lake and many engaged with the Wolfeboro Garden Club, who donated it for our use. It will be of assistance when we are able to safely gather again in-person for Bible study.

You are invited to share how you have experienced God's grace since the start of the pandemic. Think of a specific time when a person or formal ministry of All Saints' impacted you positively either as someone you sharing your gifts with, as someone receiving the gifts of another, or as a witness to others sharing God's love. How did that experience make you feel? What impact did that have on the community? What makes you passionate about that ministry moment? Please share your story as we focus on encouraging one another.
Share your story with Pastor Bill or our Senior Warden and E-news Editor Carolyn Sundquist. They can be as creative as you wish and any format. They could be a 2-3 sentence written impact statement, a 1-2 minute video chat, or a formal written short story. Photos to accompany your story are always great!

Driving by Tuftonboro Central School recently, on RT 109A, I noticed this sign. I immediately turned around and went back to snap this picture of God’s message to all of us: “Love one another as I have loved you...”.
I John 3:23
God bless, Joyce
