Your Community Bank's eNewsletter                               October  2018
Dear neighbor,

Those who know me, know that my favorite candy is Brach's candy corn and my favorite month is October. As the seasons and holidays evolve, we have an exciting change of our own. We welcomed Belinda Archuleta to our team! She has been in the industry for 37 years, and has lived in Farmington for a good portion of that time. She adds a warmth to that group as I'm sure you'll agree. You can read more about her here. Welcome, Belinda!
Trick or treat,
Sheila Mathews | President and CEO

Enroll in eStatements
Not only are eStatements more secure than paper statements, they could also save you a $5 monthly fee (depending on your account type), along with needless paper. If you've not already done so, you can sign up for eStatements within online banking.
Insight: Fake check scams
In all cases, you get a check and are asked to send money back.
That's a scam! Common check fraud schemes:
  • You win a prize and are told to send back taxes and fees
  • You get paid as a secret shopper and are told to wire back money
  • You sold an item online and the buyer overpays
