Students Honored at SUNY at Albany's Multicultural
High School Achievers Award Program

Five St. Catharine students were recognized for
exemplary academic performance and leadership at this year's University at Albany Multicultural High School Achievers Award Program. Now seniors,
Aalysha Sosa-Batista, Nicole Taormina, Triana Trinh, Angelique Vega, and Emily Vega, have achieved a high school average of 88 or higher and are nominated by their guidance counselors or community leaders. In its 27th year, this program has honored more than 4,635 students of color.

Ashley DeLeon '19 publishes articles on Teen Ink website
Ashley DeLeon '19 is writing for Teen Ink, a website written for teens by teens. A leader at St. Catharine's, Ashley is president of Student Council, the lead programmer for the VEX Robotics Team, president of the National Beta Club, a founding member of the Dance Team, a member of the National Honor Society and an Academy Ambassador. She also serves on the Blood Drive Committee.

The Varsity Volleyball team is currently in 2nd place with a record of 5 wins and 1 loss. The Junior Varsity is in 1st place with a record of 5 wins and 0 losses.
