Abstract Designs
Let's spend the day playing with colours, lines and shapes as we explore abstract art and design.  Bring your lunch and snacks (no nuts please) as well as clothing fit for making art and going outside.  Grades 1 to 7 from 9:00am to 4:30pm on October 19. Pre-registration is required. Gallery members receive 10% off.

Wild Wild West
Join us on a journey through Frontier towns and on a field trip to Huble Farm! Help the sheriff catch cow rustlers, learn how to make butter and ice-cream, crochet, and discover life 100 years ago.  We will learn all about the gold rush as we pan for gold and discover what it took to build our beautiful province.  7:45am - 6:00pm. $40.00 per child.

Visit The Exploration Place for fun, hands-on activities on the next Pro D Day - and receive 50% off admission for all visitors. All activities are free with admission and are catered to specific groups:
10:00am to 11:30am for preschoolers and their big people
1:00pm to 3:00pm for elementary students.

Let's Build Bears
Come and learn skills while using your imagination. Sign-up for a day camp from 10:30am to 12 noon at Carlson Pottery on October 19th.

Looking for a fun way to spend the day off school or to spend time with the family? Hit the pool! The Four Season Leisure Pool and the PG Aquatic Centre provides swimming for $2.10 on every Pro D Day.

Cultural Crafts
Join us to spend time with the Elders and learn some traditional crafts.  Lunch is provided. No registration is required. This free Pro D activity runs from 10:00am to 2:00pm on October 19th. Visit the Native Friendship Centre downtown at 1600 - 3rd Avenue.

Babysitter's Course
This fun, hands-on course will prepare you to handle the different ages of children you are caring for and learn to stay calm in emergency situations with basic first aid training.  You will be a confident, prepared and in-demand babysitter, complete with a handbook and mini first aid kit.  Register by calling 250-561-5801 or  Register online
