Join the fun at Beth El Congregation for Good Deeds Day! Volunteers will be participating in a variety of hands on projects that will benefit students participating in Thread, a comprehensive volunteer mentor program. Volunteers will also be able to delve deeper with Rabbis and other educators to learn more about how and why we can make every day Good Deeds Day. Event is sponsored by Beth El Congregation.

POP UP Kabbalat Shabbat
Friday, March 13 at 5:30 p.m., Gorn Chapel Hall
Led by Cantor Blatt and members of the Beth El community, we will sing familiar psalms from Kabbalat Shabbat to spiritually prepare ourselves for Shabbat. This service is perfect for any age, from babies to bubbies. Come and join the fun!
The Social Action Committee is Collecting Used Stamps
We're helping a school in Howard County collect used stamps. The school has a goal of collecting 6 million stamps to represent the 6 million Jews from the Holocaust. Please bring your used stamps Beth El's main office.
Beth El Sisterhood Luncheon & Book Review
with Rabbi Dana Saroken

Sisterhood Shabbat

Join us for this annual event as Sisterhood members of Beth El lead Shabbat services and host a wonderful Kiddush. The women serve as rabbis and cantors, chant the alyiot and read Torah and Haftorah. All congregants, families and friends are invited to this meaningful morning service as Sisterhood celebrates its 71 st anniversary.

Our anticipated series will examine the lives and legacies of seven iconic Israeli Prime Ministers. What qualities does it take to create a democratic state for a disparate people in a barren land surrounded by hostile neighbors?
