About the Curriculum
Frontline Supervisors are the glue that keeps provider organizations that employ direct support professionals together. It is, perhaps, the most complex job in a human services organization as they are charged with the responsibility to supervise and develop direct support staff, while managing budgets, working with families, implementing sophisticated plans and many other aspects of leading a program.

Frequently, those who perform this role were promoted from within a direct support role and may be poorly equipped and unprepared to meet the demands of leading others and managing multiple priorities, which can ultimately lead to low morale, ineffective support and increased direct support professional turnover.

The good news? The NADSP has done something about this!
The National Alliance for Direct Support Professionals (NADSP) has developed a comprehensive train-the-trainer curriculum to address the needs of this important part of the workforce. This curriculum meets the educational and developmental needs of new managers, while strengthening veteran frontline supervisory staff with tools based on sound research that engages participants with up to 50 hours of intensive learning in a highly interactive format.
