KAREN PASIEKA: Peterborough

After claiming her bachelor of architecture degree and working in the industry for 5 years, artist Karen Pasieka was drawn back to her roots, to a 20-year-long love of polymer clay modelling. Her passion for detailed work has lead her from one inspired piece to the next, where she now focuses on combining delicately sculpted florals with Swarovski crystals and sterling silver to form colourful artwear jewellery, as well as interesting and intricate framed pieces you can hang on your wall.

SUE RANKIN: Port Perry

Susan Rankin is a glass artist based in Apsley, Ontario. For the past 25 years, she has explored the idea of garden through her work. As an avid gardener she has a passionate interest in flowers. She has exhibited extensively across Canada, the US, Belgium and Japan. Her award-winning work has earned the support of the Canada Council and the Ontario Arts Council, and is held in collections in Canada, the US, and Belgium. Rankin's works are subtly rich in colour and markings, expressing the beauty of the glass elements.

Brigitte is a Canadian artist whose love of nature is reflected in her vibrant landscapes in oil and acrylic paint. She is drawn to the graphic elements in nature and represents them on canvas with bold strokes and vivid colours.
