Greetings,
We have entered into our Homecoming Week! In this week's edition of the newsletter you will find information about all of our festivities for the upcoming week. We are welcoming your attendance wherever it works for you and your family.
There has been a lot of planning that has gone into homecoming week and we are especially thankful for Mrs. Koester, Mrs. Honerman and Student Council for leading the charge. A huge thanks in advance for all of our staff in adjusting schedules and amazing flexibility for the week.
I would like to extend a welcome to all of our alumni returning to campus this upcoming week. For our entire Loyola community, I hope our spirit and school pride during homecoming week brings back many wonderful memories of your past homecoming celebrations!
Blessings,
Adam Bemmels,
PS-12 Principal

MSU HOMECOMING PARADE
Loyola has been invited to join St. John the Baptist's float in tomorrow's Homecoming parade. If you are interested in walking in the parade,
the lineup will be on South Front Street. Just look for the St. John's/Loyola float, as they aren't assigning lineup numbers. Parade starts at 10:00am.
FRIENDLY REMINDERS...
Parents who wish to have lunch off campus with their child must pick up and sign the student in and out of the office. Parents may not take children other than their own off campus.
Students are not allowed to order food from outside vendors and bring into school for lunch without the pre-approval of administration.
Backpacks: please keep your backpacks in your locker. Loading up your backpack with all your books is bad for your physical health (back and shoulders). More importantly, it was the recommendation by Mankato Public Safety to not allow backpacks at our school. Until they notify us otherwise, we will continue to follow this recommendation.
BLESSING OF PETS
In the spirit of Saint Francis of Assisi, join us for our traditional
Blessing of Pets prayer service on
Thursday, October
4, at 2pm.
K-6 students will meet on the North lawn (across from the parking lot). Your children may join you for the prayer service. (Please keep your pets and children with you throughout.) Your children will be dismissed for the day after the prayer service.
