Dear Members,
Our friends at the Bus Association of New York (BANY) are strong supporters of the BUS4NYC Coalition and its ongoing efforts to identify and solve transportation and infrastructure issues in New York City. GNJMA also supports their efforts and attended a meeting earlier this year.
BANY, who is sponsoring an upcoming event, is extending an invitation to our members to to attend the BUS4NYC Coalition Steering Committee Meeting on Tuesday, October 16th at 4PM at The Penn Club, 30 West 44th Street in NYC.
Further, on a separate but related issue, they are interested in gathering Bus Operators to attend the CRAINS NY event on Oct 17th at 8AM. Here, NYCDOT Commissioner Polly Trottenberg will discuss Vision Zero which is a top priority for the administration, the issue of congestion, and the L-pocalypse. It is important Bus Operators attend this meeting about this important topic.
