PRAY WITHOUT CEASING
Please join your church in praying for the following requests for the life and mission of the church:

+ Please pray for Edith Gish and Frances Linderman, the two children being baptized this week on Pentecost. Pray that the Lord will pour out his Holy Spirit on them, making them ready for a life of walking with and serving him.

+ Pray also for our Mission Partner, Camp Oak Hill, as they prepare for a summer of leading campers to know Jesus for the first time, and to learn to follow him.

+ Pray for the conflict between the Israeli and Palestinian people, that the Lord will protect the lives of people on both sides, and call Christians in that region to show the love of Christ to everyone who is caught up in the conflict.

MEN'S MINISTRY

Men of Apostles ... bring your sons, your neighbors, your friends but most of all yourself to our annual spring dinner!  Whether you attended a Men's Bible Study, or are new to the church this is a great time to meet other men who love to eat, who love to talk, who love to serve God, who love to gather together and build relationships with each other.

Please let Frank know if you are able to help with cooking, set up, clean up.

VBS 2018
Sunday, June 24 | 5-8pm
June 25 - 28 | 9am-12pm

We will venture onto an uncharted island where kids are rescued by Jesus!  They will be anchored in the truth that Jesus carries them through every storm in life.  They'll learn to hold onto God's promises when they are lonely, they worry, they struggle, do wrong, and feel powerless.  Each day at Shipwrecked VBS, kids travel through field-tested rotations that reinforce relevant Bible Points and immerse kids in new adventures.

NOTE for NON-MEMBERS:
To inquire about registering a child ages 4 and under who do not regularly attend worship at the Church of the Apostles, please contact Stacey Wiley {919-782-0550 x 22} to request registration information.
