Six Simple Ways to Help
STOP
the Spread of Disease
|
|
We all hear so much about coronavirus -- some of it contradictory -- it can be hard to know what, if anything, we can do to protect ourselves and others from catching it or any other virus. Short of a vaccine, some of the most effective defenses are right at our fingertips -- literally.
- Wash hands with hot water and soap for at least 20 seconds multiple times a day and especially before interacting with older folks, who are more susceptible to coronavirus.
- Cover your coughs and sneezes with a tissue or with the crook of your elbow -- NOT WITH YOUR HAND.
- Avoid touching your mouth, eyes or nose.
- Avoid shaking hands.
- Try to stay clear of those who are sick.
- Stay home from work or school if you're sick.
