The Nixa Theatre Department presents "Something's Afoot" a 🎶 musical/ 🤣 comedy that is to die for! With only five weeks to prepare for opening night instead of their usual ⏰ two-to-three month time frame, not knowing if the play would be cancelled because of COVID-19, and wearing masks during rehearsal the students and teachers had plenty on their minds.

There are still three available showtimes for this production, visit link below for tickets and more information www.nixatheatre.net.
JTSD Modeled Rock Strata & Fossils
JTSD sixth graders modeled rock strata and fossils with play-doh and then simulated core drilling to learn more about how scientists determine the ages of rocks and fossils.

Nixa Theatre Fall Production
Three Shows Left!
Tickets are now available for the Nixa Theatre fall production of Something’s AFoot A Murder brought by Professional Accounting. Showtimes will be at 7:00 pm on October, 19, 20, 22-24.
Seating is limited to 50% capacity and seats are spread out to allow for the most social distancing possible.

Ticket Prices
Adult: $10 until day before show; $12 day of show
Student/Senior Citizen: $8 until day before show; $10 day of show

Please note when ordering tickets, most seats are in pairs. If you do not choose both tickets, anyone can sit next to you at the performance and we do not have the ability to move them if you do not want this. Please keep that in mind that if you want social distancing, you may need to purchase both tickets to keep the seat empty.

If a seat is grayed out when you go to order, that means that someone has already selected that seat and you will be sitting next to someone who may not know.

When: Saturday, October 24th from 10am-2pm.
Where: Nixa CVS Pharmacy
Why: Proper disposal of medications

Don't be an accidental drug dealer.

  • Keeping unused prescription drugs in your home could make you a target for theft of those medications by people who may be addicted to them.
  • Taking expired medications can be dangerous to your health.
  • Throwing away medications in the trash or flushing them down the toilet can put dangerous chemicals into the water supply or our rivers and streams where they can harm swimmers, fish, and other wildlife.

So please, take advantage of national Prescription Drug Take Back Day.
This is a national event sponsored by the DEA.

Locally, the Nixa Police Department is partnering with the Nixa CVS Pharmacy to collect medications so they can be disposed of properly.
