PRESIDENTS' MESSAGE
Stacey Harmon and Karen Willett

It was so fun to see everyone last Friday evening! We all value the wonderful community at West and that commitment was clearly on display at Family Fun Night. Hopefully you and your children enjoyed the food trucks, dance party, picnic and spending time with friends as much as we did. We know the kids slept well Friday night!  If you haven't already, please consider supporting the West community by joining the PTC.  Your $30 membership fee helps fund the PTC operating budget, which is used for programs that benefit all students at West.  Happy weekend!

WESTY'S WEEK IN REVIEW

GRADE LEVEL OPEN HOUSES
Both of the Grade Level Open Houses were a huge success! We are very thankful to the faculty and administration for providing excellent presentations on the curriculum and programming at West School. We loved the real-time Wordle, which allowed us to visualize what parents think are the best things about West. A huge thank you to  Sheri Cronk, Caryn Kelly and    Susan Clarke   for coordinating all of the Open House refreshments! Last but not least, we are grateful to our Spirit Wear team  Julie Passios, Jill Carles and  Lisa Strupp for all of the West School clothing and accessories to help our school show off school pride!

THANK YOU TO THE FALL FAMILY FUN NIGHT CHAIRS
A big thank you to the Fall Family Fun Night chairs,  Elise Walters and  Kristin Bundy , for their tireless efforts throughout the summer and start of the school year to make a memorable event for all the families at West School!

THANK YOU FOR SHARING A BOOK
Thank you to all who so generously donated to Share a Book! We raised funds for more than 185 new books for the West School Library. Each personalized bookplate will be placed in one of these books. A round of applause to Barbara Rosen for all of her hard work championing the Share a Book campaign.
