Dear Friends,
Although last week's storm was trying its best to prolong winter, spring is finally here. Those who celebrate Easter, as well as those of other faiths and beliefs systems, can join together at this time of year to embrace renewal and the manifestation of hope that we see in the flower buds popping up around the County.
I am certainly feeling hopeful, and you are the reason for that.
You are the young parents I've met at various school events, who are putting their trust in our school system to do right by their children. You are the business owners I've talked with at numerous meetings, who have put their stake in the County and plan to grow and prosper here. You are the seniors I've visited at centers and care facilities from Seabrook to Seat Pleasant, who have faith that they will not be forgotten by their community members. You are the literally thousands of people I've had the honor to meet at planned events and unplanned encounters every single day, people who are looking for a chance, a connection, or a community. People who believe in the promise of Prince George's County.
Thank you for your faith and for everything you give to our County. I am looking forward to giving back to you.
Happy Spring,
Angela
