Happy Fall! We have some important reminders and schedule updates to share with our Chapter Members and Industry Partners. Please watch the short video message below and review the information included in this email so you are up-to-speed!

IREM has so many resources and tools available to you. Please make sure you are checking back to our resource pages on irem8.org and on irem.org frequently for even more tools and information that are added to the pages on a weekly basis.

October/November

  • Thank you to everyone who joined us on October 15 & 16 for the Virtual IREM Summit! We had two full days of interactive learning sessions, keynotes and networking opportunities.

  • Thank you to everyone who attended our October 22 Virtual Meeting & Legislative Update. If you missed that event OR you want to review the presentation that was shown that day, Click Here.

  • Member Participation Forms 2021 - Let us know where YOU can help serve IREM DC in the upcoming year. Fill out the form and submit to Jean Collins so that you can join a chapter committee in the upcoming year.

  • School Supply Drive - Help our target school, South Lake Elementary, with supplies they need for virtual learning. Check out the Amazon Shopping List and purchase as few, or as many items as you can to help support those in need in Montgomery County. Click Here for more details.

  • Region 3 Fitness Challenge - We are having fun competing in the Region 3 Online Fitness Challenge! Team IREM 8 is gaining points in the competition each day! Thank you to everyone on Team IREM 8 for participating and getting in on this healthy, friendly challenge. We are already thinking ahead to January and a possible "Season 2" of the Region 3 Fitness Challenge. We hope you will join us in the New Year!

  • Tuesday, November 17, 2020 - VIRTUAL General Membership Meeting
  • ZOOM 3:30PM - 4:30PM
  • Join us for this special online event. We will hear an IREM update from our Region 3 Vice President Jae Roe, Install our 2021 Officers & Directors with Alex Garcia, CPM as our 2021 Chapter President, install NEW members into the chapter, and have some breakout time to meet and connect with one another.

  • Tuesday, December 8, 2020 - VIRTUAL General Membership Event
  • ZOOM 5:00PM - 6:30PM
  • Grab your Ugly Holiday Sweater (NOT Kidding! We will have a Prize for the BEST!) and join us on Zoom for a fun online Mixology Class with our friends from IREM West-Central MD. We will be learning how to make 2 Festive Holiday Drinks!
