This is a reminder that the sales tax for Oconee County businesses is 7%,
not 8%.
In April, Athens-Clarke County instituted a penny tax for TSPLOST that may have caused some confusion for businesses in Oconee County, primarily those situated near Epps Bridge. ANNOUNCING CLINT BLACK LIVE IN CONCERT SEPTEMBER 20 AT THE CLASSIC CENTER THEATRE
ATHENS, Ga.
(May 7, 2018) – Six String Southern Productions and Classic Entertainment are proud to announce country music star Clint Black will perform live in concert on Thursday, September 20 in Athens, Ga. at The Classic Center Theatre. Black will perform along with his full band. Opening support will be announced at a later date.
The show is sponsored by Bud Light and produced by Six String Southern Productions and Classic Entertainment.
Tickets are reserved seating and go on sale to the public on Friday, May 11 at 10 a.m. Ticket prices range from $35-$65 and will be available for purchase at ClassicCenter.com, by phone at 706-357-4444 or at The Classic Center Theatre Box Office in Downtown Athens.

On June 5, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, DeKalb County Chamber of Commerce, and the Georgia Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with MetLife, will welcome small business leaders from across the state to the Small Business Master Class: Atlanta.
