According to the AARP , preliminary data suggests that older adults are "particularly susceptible" to the outbreak of Coronavirus. DMCC is working closely with the City of Del Mar and San Diego County in order to provide you with the most relevant and up-to-date information for seniors. We have no reason to suspect exposure at this time, but we will use our email list to report any future changes to our programs and services.

Protect yourself and the community by taking the following steps:

Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. If soap and water are not available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer.
Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
Stay home when you are sick.
Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.
Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces.
If you have reason to suspect that you have been exposed to the virus, contact your healthcare provider.
