Dear PACC Members and Friends,     

We hope that the holidays that are upon us and the much anticipated arrival of spring will leave you renewed and energized for the remainder of the year.

HAPPY EASTER AND PASSOVER!

Our  most recent Business After Hours gathering on Thursday, March 15, doubled as the Chamber's annual meeting, and attracted a large crowd representing diverse member businesses, various organizations and agencies. As in previous years, the event was sponsored by the Polish Roman Catholic Union of America (PRCUA), and took place at the Polish Museum of America (PMA), known as the 'crown jewel' of the Polish American community. We thank everyone who attended.

     

Highlights of the the evening included an opportunity to hear from PACC Board President Stanley Skoczen and others speak briefly about the state of the Chamber, and about its plans for the remainder of the year. We also appreciated remarks by special guests, including political office candidates, as well as Ed Tumlos of Chicago's BACP, and PMA President Richard Owsiany.

     

By tradition, the program of the evening featured introductions of PACC's new members. We took the opportunity to present membership certificates to DM Marketing Group, FAKRO America LLC, LOT Polish Airlines, Polamer, Inc., Michael Baumert, Sebastian Lewanczyk, and Paul Szeliski.

• First Bank of Highland Park on their listing among the finalists for Chicago's Best Places to Work;
• General Masonry Services on their 15th Anniversary, and the new website;
• DM Marketing Group on the 2-Month Anniversary;
• Terra Casa SA on nearing the completion of the Warsaw-based award-winning architectural project; and
• LOT Polish Airlines on bringing home their first Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner!
