Tip of the Week Prior Consent Tip of the Week authored by Gentry McCreary, Ph.D., Affiliated Consultant, The NCHERM Group In a recent investigator training I was conducting in Georgia, I was walking the participants through a case study I had written, which is based on a case I actually dealt with. The case involves a potential incapacitated assault. Josh and Catherine had been dating for a few weeks, Josh had a party at his apartment on Thursday night, both got drunk and engaged in sexual intercourse. Catherine wakes up the next day with no memory of what happened. It is a fairly typical case. But there is one wrinkle in the case that generated an interesting conversation.
