Our Annual K-5 Mother's Day Tea was a picture perfect day where students showed their love and appreciation for their mothers. Thank you to the K-5 teachers who did a fantastic job creating a touching and sweet experience!
Sports Fest

As we celebrate another successful and outstanding Sports Fest, we applaud our students for their competitive spirit and incredible sportsmanship. A huge thank you to our PE teachers, the ultimate motivators, for making every child feel like a winner, as well as our wonderful volunteer parents who helped make Sports Fest a success.

Park Maitland talent shines brightly in The Lion King! 

Paige O. and Alicia B. (4 Green) played Timon and Pumbaa, and Daniel I. (3 Yellow) was young Simba & Rafiki, in The Lion King Experience this past Monday and Tuesday at the JCC.
Family, friends and teachers came out to support these very talented Park Maitland students!
Our Park Maitland Cub Scouts Pack 627 had a fantastic time on their trip to the USS Yorktown Adventure in Charleston, SC!
Our first M.E.E.T: Diversity Talk With Parents meeting was a big success! Thanks to all that attended and contributed their insight to this very special event.
We are excited to share the FINALISTS for our upcoming Food Truck Challenge event!

These finalists will be presenting their projects to esteemed experts who have a distinct knowledge of the business on May 17th @ 10:00 a.m. during the  Third Annual Food Truck Challenge.
School Nurse Appreciation Day took place on May 9th, and we just couldn't let this day go by without recognizing and saying THANK YOU to our amazing school nurses, Ms. Chouljian and Ms. Lipscomb, for taking such good care of the students and staff at Park Maitland School!
Drive Me 2 School transportation offers convenient and stress-free transportation for school aged children. We are so excited to share that we will be partnering with them in the upcoming school year for field trip transport as well! We already have students at Park Maitland that are utilizing this service for safe and convenient transportation. Sibling and group discounts are available.

We are so proud to say CONGRATULATIONS to Park Maitland parent, Ms. Menna Younes, for receiving her U.S. citizenship this week! We are excited to recognize this outstanding achievement with Ms. Younes and her family.
As the last day of school fast approaches, please remind children to return all library books!
CONGRATULATIONS to all of our students that completed their Read to Lead logs every month for the entire school year! Our annual Read to Lead lunch celebrations will take place next week during regularly scheduled lunch times on the dates indicated below:

FREE EXTENDED CARE:
Park Maitland School offers extended care from 7:30 – 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 – 5:00 p.m. at no additional cost. A fee of $1.00 per minute is charged per camper/per minute after 5:00 p.m.

If you have friends of family members that are not currently affiliated with Park Maitland School, we are excited to invite them to join our Camp Wonder experience. Please share this information and bring a friend to join in on the fun!
