During the summer, we will have the opportunity to welcome four guest preachers to our pulpit. This Sunday, we welcome Rev. Blair Smith from RTS Charlotte. Please see our website's News page or our homepage for announcements including information about these four pastors as well as our preaching schedule for the summer.

Congregational Day of Prayer
Monday, June 25 | 7 AM - 9 PM
The Community Life Center chapel will be open and materials will be available to help guide your prayer time. If a member or family seeks anointing or prayer with the elders, please come to the room nearest the CLC chapel between 6-7 PM or contact Pastor Bruce Creswell at [email protected] or 704-708- 6106. Officer Election Results
All officers were elected by an overwhelming margin at the congregational meeting last Sunday, June 17. Congratulations to our returning sabbatical officers.

Women's Fall Bible Studies
Studies begin in September
Registration opens July 8
Our fall session of Bible studies for women will begin in September. Registration will open on July 8. There are weekly and once-a-month studies to choose from. For information about these small groups opportunities, please see the Women's Bible Studies webpage.

Women's DIY Day
Saturday, October 13 | 8:30 AM - 2 PM
Registration opens August 1
DIY Day is an event where women can learn useful and fun new skills while forming friendships over shared interests. The day is divided into three workshop sessions. Each attendee is invited to attend a different workshop during each session. A catered lunch is served in a beautifully creative setting with a program designed to encourage and inspire women in every season and situation of life. The cost is $35 and includes the workshops, lunch, and speaker. For more information, contact Peggy Wekall.

Vendors Wanted: We are looking for women who make handmade items to be vendors at our DIY day on October 13.  Please contact Andrea Johnson for more information.

Youth Summer Programming**
MS Bible Study (Tuesdays at 6:30 PM): All rising 6th graders through rising 8th graders are invited for Bible study with hands-on applications. We end our time with games. Meet in the CLC Youth Center from 6:30-8:30 PM.
 
HS Summer Nights (Wednesdays at 7 PM): All rising 9th graders through 2018 graduates are invited for Bible study and then ultimate Frisbee. Meet in the CLC Youth Center at 7 PM. After Bible study, we walk to the Fullwood Field (lacrosse field) for Ultimate Frisbee until 9 PM. (*If students would like to join us afterwards at Arboretum Chick-fil-A for a late night snack, then pick up will be at the Arboretum at 10 PM.)
 
**NOTE: There will NOT be regular youth programming this week (June 24-30). 

Covenant Groups
Are you interested in joining a covenant group? We have recently formed FIVE new groups! We'd love for you to get involved! Contact Jennifer Dean for details if you would like to join a covenant group. ProjectSHARE June Collection:  A21
A21 is an international nonprofit organization fueled by radical hope that human beings everywhere will be rescued from bondage and completely restored. In Charlotte, they focus on the aftercare piece of their solution to ending trafficking, meaning they work with survivors to assist them as they build their life on the premise of physical, mental, and emotional freedom. More information about A21 and the list of items we are collecting are available on our ProjectSHARE webpage.

ProjectSHARE Summer Collection:
School Supplies
During the summer months of July and August, ProjectSHARE will be collecting general school supplies to share with our school partners. We appreciate any and all donated school supplies. If you need a few ideas, we suggest the following: crayons, scissors, composition books, #2 pencils, filler paper, markers, 3x5 ruled index cards, glue sticks, colored pencils, assorted colored copy paper, Clorox disinfecting wipes, and hand sanitizer. This information is also available on our ProjectSHARE webpage. Please bring these items to the Information Desk in the worship center any Sunday in July or August.

Missionaries of the Week

Jan King, Retired
Wycliffe Bible Translators

Jan is retired from JAARS, but volunteers weekly with their Health Services as a nurse and helps to provide healthcare for the Wycliffe/JAARS personnel.
 
Pray for Jan to have God's wisdom in balancing ministry to her family with the needs at JAARS. Pray for energy, stamina and good health as she continues to serve as a mentor to missionaries. Pray for her continuing ministry to the people who come for international travel immunizations.

Summer Camps at Covenant Day School
You are invited to register for the more than 25 summer camps that Covenant Day is hosting this summer for students in grades TK-12! The CDS summer camp program is designed to inspire, challenge, and equip our students, neighbors, and community with a variety of hands-on learning, playing, and creating opportunities that seize summer's invitation for fun and exploration. Led by a passionate team of CDS faculty and staff, our summer camp leaders are committed to nurturing students in the love of God and formation of Christian character.
