Art Show 2020 - VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
Get ready for the 2020 "Cossitt Creates" Art Show which will be held from 6:30-8:00pm on Wednesday, March 4th! Doors 1, 5, and 6 will be open.  

The success of the Cossitt Art Show depends on parent volunteers to help set up and install all of the amazing artwork our kids create.  We need more volunteers to help with set-up, especially the second shift, and also clean up/break down after the event. Please consider donating your time to ensure that this worthy Cossitt tradition can continue!

One Hour = $$$ for Cossitt!
Did you know that over 100 volunteers are needed to plan and execute each Cossitt Clothing Sale? In less than 24 hours, our awesome volunteers will help sort, organize, and hang over 20,000 items for sale day on March 14th. Within a day after the sale ends, thousands of items have been distributed to charities, unsold items have been returned, and sellers have their checks in hand. The sale is an event that every Cossitt parent should witness to fully understand how it has become a community tradition and Cossitt PTC's largest fundraiser.

Card stock for seller tags is now available on the front porch of 222 S. Kensington Ave. Please take only what you need.

Need to clean out your closets but don't want to deal with the hassle of hanging and printing tags? Clothing donations are being accepted until noon on March 8 at 416 S. Edgewood. 100% of the profit from donations goes to Cossitt. We also appreciate donations of wire hangers and large safety pins!

Order Your Cossitt Yearbooks Today!
This full-color, 80+ page yearbook captures student events, activities and memories from the 2019-2020 school year. Yearbooks are $14 each and must be ordered online. They will be distributed to students during the last week of school.

This is the only time of year for Cossitt yearbook orders (meaning you did not order Cossitt yearbooks in the fall when you may have ordered them for Park or LT).

To order yearbooks:
1. Visit our vendor store here
2. Select the 2020 yearbook
3. Enter student info and homeroom teacher, click "Next", verify info and click "Add to Cart"
4. To add a yearbook for another child, click "Continue Shopping" and repeat the process for each additional child
5. When you've ordered all yearbooks for your family, click "Checkout"
6. Keep your order confirmation, which will be emailed to you. This is your proof of purchase.

Di Nico's Restaurant Fundraiser!
Di Nico's Restaurant Fundraiser Wednesday March 4th!   

Did someone say pizza, pasta and subs? Let someone else do the cooking before or after the Art Fair on Wednesday 3/4! Stop by Di Nico's for dine-in or carryout dinner and help support Cossitt! 50% of proceeds will be donated back to our school! The hours are from 4p-9:30pm, and Di Nico's is located at 42 South La Grange Road. (Please note that Di Nico's will not accept gift cards or coupons for this Cossitt Fundraiser.)

Friday, March 13, 7-10pm:  Flying High Supervised Gym Time so you can have a night out!

Race to the Finish!
District 102's annual 
Race to the Finish 5K and 1 Mile Run/Walk
Sunday, May 3, 2020 at 8 AM 

This event benefits the PTCs for ALL six schools in District 102. The event starts & finishes at Forest Road School traveling a course through the scenic streets of LaGrange Park and concludes with a post-race party including music, vendors and food!

March 2 is the deadline for the winter collection of Box Tops! EARN CASH FOR OUR SCHOOL. NO MORE CLIPPING. ALL YOU NEED IS YOUR SMARTPHONE. HERE'S HOW IT WORKS:
