Gazprom and South Korea revive talks to build gas pipeline via North Korea

Neftegaz.ru/en, June 18th, 2018:  Gazprom has resumed talks with South Korea over a decade-old idea to build a gas pipeline from Russia's Far East to South Korea through North Korea, Vitaly Markelov, Deputy Chairman of Gazprom's Management Committee, said on June 15.
 
«To date, the political situation has been somewhat different, and the South Korean side has asked Gazprom to resume the project, and a series of talks has been held on this issue, and these talks are continuing,» TASS quoted Markelov as saying at a news conference today.  Read more...
LUKOIL comissions 3rd well at Filanovsky field 2nd stage

Neftegaz.ru/en, June 18th, 2018:  LUKOIL   completed the construction and commissioned the 3rd well at the 2ond development stage of the Vladimir Filanovsky field in the Caspian Sea.
 
This is a bilateral horizontal oil producing well. The length of the main wellbore is 3,795 meters while the lateral is 3,762 meters long. Well's initial flow rate exceeded 3.2 thousand tonnes of oil per day. The field's average daily production reached its plateau level post the launch of this well.  Read more...
Rosnedra extended the RNG field licence for 100 years

Neftegaz.ru/en, June 18th, 2018:  Rosnedra extended the RNG  license for exploration and production of minerals on the Eastern blocks of the Srednebotuobinskoye oil and gas condensate field till the end of 2117.

Shell seen reclaiming dominance in Texas shale country

Worldoil.com, June 18th, 2018:  Shell is said to have bid, with partner Blackstone Group LP, on a portfolio of U.S. shale assets BHP Billiton Ltd. wants to sell for about $10 billion. If it wins, the Anglo-Dutch oil major could exceed its goal of doubling its American onshore output, according to JPMorgan Chase & Co.

That would boost the unit's free cash flow -- currently on track to grow by $2 billion by 2025 -- and turn around a shale portfolio that is currently "mid-lower ranked," analysts from the bank including Christyan Malek said in a report.  Read more...

Igor Sechin holds working meeting with Khalid Al-Falih

Gazprom says in talks with NIOC over development of Iranian fields

Neftegaz.ru/en, June 18th, 2018:  A senior official with Gazprom said Russia's gas giant is in talks with the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) to develop four gas fields in Iran.
 
The company plans to expand its reserve base abroad and is stepping up talks on its participation in 4 Iranian fields, namely Kish, North Pars, Farzad A and B, under a memorandum with the NIOC, deputy chairman of Gazprom's management committee, Vitaly Markelov, told a press briefing, Platts reported on Friday.  Read more...
Gazprom Neft progresses on Moscow refinery's upgrade project

Ogj.com, June 18th, 2018:  Russia's PJSC Gazprom Neft, St. Petersburg, has reached 89% completion on construction of its previously announced project to build a Euro+ combined oil refining unit (CORU) as part of the ongoing modernization and upgrade of its 12.15 million-tonne/year Moscow refinery.

The operator has completed installation of all large-scale equipment for Euro+ CORU, including installation of the highest section of the catalytic reformer, which will enable production of high-performance Euro 5-quality gasoline-a key project in the Moscow refinery's second-stage modernization work under way since 2011, Gazprom Neft said.   Read more...
Putin sees good prospects for energy cooperation with Belarus

Neftegaz.ru/en, June 20th, 2018: Vladimir Putin sees good prospects for expanding Belarus-Russia cooperation in energy. He made this statement during the session of the Supreme State Council of the Union State of Belarus and Russia in Minsk on 19 June, BelTA has learned
 
The Russian leader spoke about most promising joint projects. In particular, he noted that Russian companies are building in Belarus a factory to produce carbon black that is used in car manufacturing and chemical industry.

Russia's Oil Export, Refinery Plans Point To Increase In Output

Rigzone.com, June 19, 2018: Ahead of a meeting with Saudi Arabia and other producers, Russia already plans to increase oil exports, its July-September schedule shows, which coupled with increasing refinery runs suggests Moscow is gearing up to raise production.
OPEC and non-OPEC producers are scheduled to meet on June 22-23 in Vienna to discuss a possible increase in output after more than a year and a half of coordinated cuts which have taken 1.8 million barrels per day (bpd) out of the market.
Those cuts, led by Saudi Arabia and Russia, having helped slash global oversupply and raised prices by almost $20 a barrel, but there are now calls, from Russia's energy minister Alexander Novak and others, that the deal be re-examined.   Read more...

Vietnamnews.vm, June 22, 2018: More and more Russian agricultural products are finding their way into the Vietnamese market, according to the Russian Export Centre in Việt Nam.
Sunflower oil, pine nuts, walnuts, cereals,\ and other products from the country are on display and sold at Russian showrooms and through other distribution channels.
Many well-known Russian brands such as Magnit, Bimuka, Paritet, Kuban Wine, Fanagoria Wine, Igristye Wine, Makfa and Aston are sold here.  Read more...
Russian export duties on BTX to rise 5.6% on month in July: ministry

Platts.com, June 20, 2018: Russian export duties on benzene, toluene and xylenes will rise for a third consecutive month in July, according to the Ministry of Economy.
The duties will rise 5.6% month on month to $41.70/mt in July for a 72% year-on-year increase amid stronger crude prices and duties, the ministry said Wednesday.
The BTX duties will remain at 30% of the crude export duty, the same proportion as in 2017. Export duties on crude are set to rise to $139.10/mt.
Export duties for some sorts of crude -- from Eastern Siberia and Caspian Sea fields -- and certain refined products, such as ethane and butane, will remain at zero in July. These have remained at zero since January 2015. 
Russian coal exports at record 

Highhellenicshippingnews.com, June 20, 2018:  Russian coal deliveries by rail for export rose to a new record high in May, despite active phase of rail maintenance that started in April and intensified last month. Coal deliveries by rail for export increased by around 400,000t on the month and by 130,000t on the year, to 17.8mn t in May amid higher supplies through overland border crossings, which offset lower deliveries to ports.
But supplies may decrease this month amid a lack of available railcars for coal loading, repairs at large northwestern port and ban on deliveries through Ukrainian ports. Coal dispatches for exports have dropped in the first 12 days of June by around 3pc on the year, to around 578,000t/day, reflecting lower supplies to ports.   Read more...

Kazakhstan increases export of agricultural products to Russian regions

Azernews.az, June 20, 2018: Kazakh Company "Expo Food" has made the shipment of the first batch of packed cereals worth more than 4.3 million tenge for sale in the hypermarkets network of "Essen Production AG" in Russia's Tatarstan, the press service of "Kazakh Export" reports on June 19.
"While the exact scope of supply is not determined, the company will each time negotiate the volume of deliveries", "Kazakh Export" noted.
"Kazakh Export" provided the "Expo Food" company with insurance support in the form of export credit insurance (deferred payment) under the contract concluded with the Russian buyer "Torgpartner" LLC, a member of the "Essen Production AG" Group of Companies.
"Food Expo" LLP is a subsidiary of "Green Foods" LLP - a national manufacturer specializing in the production of a wide range of food products under the trademarks of Natura Bogata and "Bud Laska".   Read more...
Rosatom proposes mini-hydro power plants for Nigeria

Punchng.com, June 21, 2018: The Russian nuclear energy corporation, Rosatom, has called on the Federal Government to consider off-grid technologies such as mini-hydro power stations as an effective solution to address Nigeria's electricity shortfall.
According to the corporation, the establishment of mini-hydro stations would enhance access to electricity for the country's increasing population, as it noted that minor water streams needed for such projects were scattered across the country.  Read more...
Russia delivers unique equipment for international thermonuclear experimental reactor

Tass.com, June 19, 2018: Russia supplied unique superconductors for the International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor (ITER) in June and implemented in full its second agreement on creating systems for the reactor of the future, the press office of the ITER Russian Project Center announced on Tuesday.

Объем импорта товаров из Южной Кореи в Россию вырос на 13%

Ria.ru, 21 июня, 2018: Объем импорта товаров из Южной Кореи в РФ за первые три месяца с начала года вырос на 13,1% за счет увеличения поставок транспорта и машинного оборудования, говорится в материалах к встрече премьер-министра РФ Дмитрия Медведева и президента Южной Кореи Мун Чжэ Ина.
"В первом квартале 2018 г. объем российско-корейского товарооборота снизился по сравнению с январем-мартом 2017 г. на 4,5% и составил 4,2 млрд долларов, объем экспорта сократился на 9,0% до 2,73 млрд долларов, объем импорта увеличился на 13,1% и составил 1,4 млрд долларов", - говорится в документах.  Читать далее...
