Parent Update - Home of the Bullfrogs
A Note From Mrs. Yacek
Good afternoon LRES Families,

We are so excited that we are able to provide a district owned chromebook to all of our students. If you have returned the completed paperwork to borrow a chromebook, B day families can expect the chromebooks to be sent home this Thursday (Nov.12th).

A day students and any families that send in paperwork after today, can expect Chromebooks to go home next week with students. Our goal next week is to send Chromebooks home the same day that the forms come in. With that being said, if you have not updated your child’s information on Powerschool, we will not be able to send the chromebooks home, until that is completed.

Parents, if you are planning to change your child’s schedule (hybrid to remote, or remote to hybrid) for the next trimester, please let me know ASAP. Please send me your request in writing. The next trimester begins December 7th. We would need to plan for these changes, which could include the change of classes. The more we know ahead of time, the better teachers can prepare for those changes.

A quick reminder to parents: Students should only ride their school bus. Student cannot change buses even with a note from their parent. Not applicable to preschool)

School Climate/Culture Survey
Our district would like to gather feedback from families regarding the school climate at all three schools. Please take a moment to complete the attached survey for Lamprey River Elementary School. To respect your time, we are asking that you only complete the survey once, even if you have more than one child attending our school (you could base your feedback on the experiences of your - oldest child attending LRES) This survey will be open until Friday, November 20th. Thank you to all of the families that have already completed the survey for LRES!

Hybrid & Full Remote Families

During remote learning days, students need to be engaged in their learning at home in order to be marked present for the school day. Classroom teachers justify attendance and mark students present on remote days when students complete assignments and join in on their google classroom live sessions (when scheduled). Some teachers may have students answer an attendance question as well. Students who are not attending to any google assignments or meetings will be marked absent.

The next materials pick up for full remote students will be this Friday, November 20th between 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm.

A Message From Our Health Office
A friendly reminder to families that are planning or considering travel this holiday season that students who travel outside of New England are required to quarantine for 14 days after they return. There is no testing out of this quarantine period. This is per Raymond School District, in alignment with state public health recommendations. Also keep in mind that as cases rise in most of the country, New Hampshire Division of Public Health Services is continuing to look at travel guidance and these recommendations are subject to change.

Also, please understand that if your student has had any contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19, that is something that needs to be communicated with the school nurse and will likely result in the need for your student to be excluded from school for 14 days. There is no testing out of a quarantine period. This is per Raymond School District, in alignment with state public health recommendations.

Please also continue to keep students home who are ill and communicate with the school nurse as soon as possible so that we can review recommendations and return to school protocols with you. We continue to recommend that any student who has any symptom on the COVID-19 symptom checklist, however mild, get tested promptly for COVID-19.

Thank you for your continued cooperation and support as we do everything in our power to keep students safe and learning!
