Pennies for Patients
Our school has accepted the challenge of helping to find a cure for blood cancer! We are joining over 25,000 schools across the nation to make a difference and raise as much money
as we can! Through February 28, our school will be working to reach a goal of $6,000. A letter has been sent home that talks about Pennies for Patients and has instructions for setting up an online giving page. When you create your online fundraising page and start raising money online you become eligible to receive awesome Hero Gear! Food Drive, February 24-28

The class that brings in the most food will be treated to Pizza and Balloon Party provided by "The Magic Man", Keith Heindenreich.

Girls on the Run Practice
Girls on the Run begins March 2 from 3:00 to 4:00 every Monday and Wednesday until May 13.  M arch 2. 4, 9,11, 16, 18, 23, 25, 30;  April 1, 6, 15, 20, 22, 27, 29;  May 4, 6, 11, 13.

Miss Gallagher's Class
Save the date for Miss Gallagher's classroom presentation of "I'm an Expert on Ireland" March 16 at 2:00. Miss Gallaghers' parents are welcome.
Crayon Collection
Do you have broken/unwanted  crayons that you are planning to  throw away? Well, save them from  the landfill and donate to a good  cause! The PTA is collecting used  crayons and will be sending them to  Effortless Art, a company (started  by a Fairview grad!) that  makes adapted crayons for early  learners and special needs children.

If you would like to donate your broken/used crayons, you can drop  them in the box found in the Gilles Sweet office. We will be collecting  them through the remainder of the school year. Any questions, please  feel free to contact Karley Beaudry, karleybeaudry86@gmail.com
Box Tops
It's time for our last Box Tops collection drive this year!  While this drive will end  Friday the 14th, you can use the Box Tops for education app to keep earning all year! Last year Gilles-Sweet earned almost   $2000  just by clipping Box Tops! So send those clipped Box Tops into your child's class, the top collectors in each grade will win a popcorn party!

Connecting for Kids
Connecting for Kids (CFK) provides education and support to families who have concerns about their child. We serve all families, including those children with and without formal diagnoses. CFK offers educational programs, support groups, a Parent Match Program and numerous resources.

Fairview Park Youth Soccer Association
Come join the over 200 young athletes in Fairview Park playing the beautiful game of soccer. Fairview Park Soccer Association registration for the Spring 2020 season is now open through January 30th at midnight.
