Your Weekly School Update
May 11, 2018
Thank you for helping us show appreciation to our teachers and nurses this week!
This week's adventures...
Finally the weather actually feels like spring is here to stay, and our students have certainly been enjoying the outdoor time that gym class and recess has provided! We were very pleased to be able to walk to Mass yesterday to celebrate the Feast of the Ascension. Our second graders were so thrilled to receive Jesus in the Eucharist for the first time together at a school Mass! They were adorable.. and elated!

Thank you to our School Events Committee representatives and to all of the parents who took the time to appreciate our teachers this past week. The daily dose of love and support was greatly appreciated by our staff! The "around the world adventure" theme was a creative approach to celebrating our teachers and the connection made to the saints of each country that was "visited" was a great touch! We have such an incredibly dedicated and amazing staff here at St. Francis, and I am as grateful for them, as I am for all of you who took the time to validate and appreciate their efforts.

Third trimester progress reports surfaced this week, making the final stretch a complete reality. While the end is nigh, we have miles to go before we can completely rest! We appreciate your support in encouraging your child(ren) to finish the year strong, and to give their personal best until the very end.
Have a wonderful weekend and Happy Mothers Day to all our mothers!
