Our Grand Opening
and Spring Show

On the weekend of May 5 & 6 we opened the doors of our new barn to the public for the first time. At 10:00 there was a line in our new driveway, and people continued to arrive steadily throughout the weekend. In fact, contrary to history and instincts, Sunday was even stronger than Saturday. People came to buy, to look, or to do a bit of both. After a year's hibernation, our shop was filled with fresh stock, and more than one hundred pieces left with new owners. We extend heartfelt thanks to all, and especially to Warwick Carpenters' Company and Nick Potter, who all worked long hours to get our new shop and yard ready for the weekend.

For those who weren't here, we offer this short video taken in  the shop on the evening before the show. Although many of the pieces are no longer with us, the video may provide a helpful context for the three dozen pieces listed in this newsletter.

New listings

In the wake of our whirlwind weekend and its preparations, we've had far less time than usual to prepare this newsletter. Because we realize that many of our customers are eagerly awaiting these new listings, we're going to forego our regular features and get right down to business. The three dozen new listings offer some of the very best of what is still in the shop. We'll continue to add new listings in future newsletters. Finally, after a year of working out of boxes, we'll once again be able to keep our website and our shop current. In the meantime, click the picture to explore the best of the latest.

Pippin
Pippin has this month off, but clicking on his picture will bring you to the best Pipptures of 2007. We think you might enjoy them.
As always, we thank you for reading. The future is looking bright, and we hope you'll be a part of it.
