elping Migrant Children
The devastating news about children who have been separated from their parents at the border has left many of us wanting to help. Two local organizations have received separated migrant children, the
Abbott House
in Irvington and
Children's Village
in Dobbs Ferry. They both gratefully accept monetary donations for the migrant children and other unaccompanied minors in their care. Learn more

Call for Summer Musicians
CUUC singers, instrumentalists, and music lovers: come share your gifts at our summer services! Most Sundays we have a pianist for hymns, and we would love to have volunteers present our other musical sections such as centering music, or offertory, or serving as our weekly hymn leader. From the Refugee Resettlement Team
Our refugee team is working with a young man from the Congo looking for work with an electrical contracting firm, a construction firm, or a property management company. We ask your help in spreading the word. See his resume

Summer Services in Fellowship Hall
10:00am, Fellowship Hall
Attend our Summer Services in air-conditioned Fellowship Hall! Services are led by members and friends of CUUC, outside speakers, and guest ministers. These Sundays are more intimate and informal so people participate more and get to know one another better. Music is provided by our talented musicians and special guests (centering music starts at 9:50am). The nursery is staffed for young children. Stay after worship for light refreshments and conversation. Regular services and religious education classes will begin again Sun Sep 9. Hope to see you here this summer!

Hope for Eli Eli VanDette, a CUUC Friend who sang movingly with Kim Force during our LGBTQ Celebration worship service last month, is an artist, a musician, and a once athletically active person and volunteer. Public Comment on Proposed Health Care Gag Rule, until July 31
A proposed rule issued by the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) would prohibit medical professionals working at facilities receiving Title X funding (i.e., family planning funding for low income populations) from talking with their patients about abortion and/or referring them for an abortion. Public comment is invited until July 31.

Share the Plate for July & August: Unirondack & Rowe Camps
This summer we share half our non-pledge collection with the camps at Unirondack and Rowe, both members of the Unitarian Universalist Association Alliance of Camps and Conference Centers (
uuaccc.org
).
We will support the Unirondack Campership Program and Rowe Center's Woodside Scholarship Fund, which seek to make a UU camp experience available to every child and youth, and to promote economic diversity in their camp programs. Learn more
