Sunday School will be back this Sunday at 10:00 am. This week we dive into the book of Micah with a promise of Christmas, what God wants of us and so much more.

Each week our youth group will gather at Reveille with the theme of worship, grow, serve, or play. This week we are packing meals for the homeless again, mixed with some games and a devotional. Sign up by Wednesday, October 21st to participate.

New - join us over Zoom! If you can't make it in person, or would be more comfortable participating online, you can now do that, all future youth group sessions will also be available via zoom. The next Confirmation class will be on Sunday, October 25. The class is open to eighth graders and above. If you are interested in joining the class, please contact Andy Glascott. Classes are also available via Zoom on this link. Again, the password is RUMCYouth.

Next summer is a long way off, with a lot of uncertainty, but we are planning on a mission/service week of some sort for the week of July 11th to 17th. We won't make any firm decisions on what this will look like until at least January or February next year, but there are lots of options to explore, from a week at home like this summer to family camps or a full week away, but a lot will depend on how the pandemic pans out. For now though, please save the date for next summer!

Thanks for all of the great work that so many of you are putting in to keep our Youth Music Ministry thriving these days! We had great recording sessions with strings and bells yesterday, and we have some really exciting Christmas music around the corner. Here are a few general updates that you need to know for the coming weeks:

* In order for the virtual choir piece "Lead Me, Lord" to be included in worship, we need a handful of additional singers to submit recordings, so please consider making a recording. It would be great to wrap this one up, so that we can move on to "Carol of the Bells" for use in the virtual Lessons and Carols service!

* Everyone involved in strings and bells, please mark your calendar for the afternoon of December 6. We will record all youth Christmas music that day. For the time being, please plan on a 3:30 call time for strings, and a 4:20 call time for bells.
